Women Set The Pace®
Different name, different distance options, same awesome experience!
Friends – we are so proud and excited to kick off our 17th season of women’s racing.
Join us at our first event of 2025 on Saturday, May 24, 2025 – the PUMA Toronto Women’s Spring 10K/5K in scenic Sunnybrook Park.
Yes, the race name has changed to reflect a change in the distance options for this race event. You still have the choice to set your own pace with a 10K or a 5K, but for 2025 we have made the difficult decision to pause our half marathon distance.
As always, the safety and comfort of our race participants is paramount. Our decision to take a pause is based on two elements: the ever-increasing construction projects underway within the Toronto park system as well as the dramatic post-pandemic surge in pedestrian and cyclist traffic on the trails.
Based on these factors we have concluded that we are no longer able to ensure the same high level of safety and optimal enjoyment that made our half marathon event an accessible, friendly, supportive and one-of-a-kind experience.
We will continue to work with City officials to monitor the ongoing construction and status of the park paths. We will reassess and review our future options in fall 2025.
In the meantime – we welcome you on Saturday, May 24, 2025 for a fantastic first-class 10K/5K event that will continue to exceed participant expectations and raise funds to support our valued charitable partner, the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO). To date, we’ve raised a cumulative total of more than $660,000 since our first race in 2009 and are aiming to add another $75,000 in 2025! Your participation and dedication to this event and this cause truly makes a difference.
Important things to know for Spring 2025:
Registration is now open!
Our events always sell out! To help accommodate the potential of increased participation from new participants or half marathoners who want to join us in the 10K or 5K, we have increased the spots available for those distances to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to set their pace.
Your entry includes a PUMA running shirt, an exclusive finisher medal, a fully supported scenic race route, access to our amazing post-race party and plenty more benefits. Designs for our 2025 limited edition PUMA race shirt and medal will be revealed soon!
Our in-person 10K and 5K races start and finish at Wilket Creek Park in Sunnybrook Park and follow the paved paths of the Toronto park system.
Along our scenic race route, you will want to stop and quench your thirst at our action-packed water stations, including everyone’s perennial favourite, the Toronto Firefighters’ Water Station. You will then be treated to a final burst of energy at our chocolate station as you head towards the finish line and post-race party!
For those who can’t join us in-person, our virtual race gives you the flexibility to complete your race your way, anywhere, roads, trails, anytime.
If you complete all three races in the 2025 PUMA Toronto Women’s Run Series, you can earn our exclusive PUMA Toronto Women’s Run Series Finisher prize. More details coming soon!
We look forward to seeing you set the pace with us on Saturday, May 24, 2025!
